Impact Report 2023
read our impact report
The Jack Petchey Foundation exists to inspire and motivate young people across London and Essex and to recognise their achievements. We are delighted to share our 2023 impact report with you, to celebrate all the things we have achieved this year and to continue to improve our work so that we can have a positive impact on even more young people.
This year, we have reached the HUGE milestone of directly benefiting 1 million young people since we began!
None of our work would be possible with the dedication of our Achievement Award schools and youth organisations, our partners and ourĀ Youth Consultation Panel. Without your commitment to young people, the Foundation would not have been able to directly impact over 120,000 young people this year. So please join us in celebrating our successes this year, and read our report to find out more about our work to strengthen the youth sector across London and Essex. Scroll down to find out about our young people’s video competition and recommend a friend scheme!

Help us celebrate!
Download our shareable graphics and post them on social media – whether you are a partner, grantee, supporter or award winner – let’s celebrate the difference we have all made together for young people in London and Essex. Be sure to tag us in your posts @jpfoundation on Twitter and @jackpetcheyfoundation on Instagram, and we will repost them!
Recommend a Friend to the Achievement Award Scheme!
We currently work with 86% of state-funded secondary schools in London and 96% in Essex, but we want 100%! Help us reach more groups to join the Achievement Award scheme by recommending a state-funded secondary school or youth organisation working in London or Essex.
Please tell us about the group you are nominating and send them a link to our Achievement Award Scheme page.
Hear from our award winners and grantees!
From catching up with former Achievement Award winners to exploring how groups and schools use our grants, check out our news pages for a wide range of articles about the localised impact of our work.
