The Jack Petchey Foundation was set up by Sir Jack Petchey to inspire and motivate young people across London and Essex to do their best and reach their full potential.
We run a wide range of grants opportunities for schools and youth organisations across London and Essex to help create more opportunities for young people.
Sir Jack Petchey CBE passed away peacefully on the 27th June. He will be greatly missed by friends and family, staff and the many young people, teachers and leaders whose lives have been impacted by Sir Jack’s vision and the work of his Foundation. In line with his wishes, our celebration events will continue – Sir Jack was adamant that we should all continue to celebrate young people and their achievements. The show will go on!
Celebrating young people is at the heart of the Jack Petchey Foundation’s mission. Each year we recognise 12,000 inspirational young achievers and host up to 90 Achievement Award events across London and Essex.
These events include VIP guests, young performers showcasing their talents on stage, and young people being celebrated for their incredible achievements.
Darcey, who won an Achievement Award in 2023, said:
“The event was incredible, I really enjoyed every bit and it was amazing to receive an award!”
Below is a list of our upcoming Achievement Award events for schools, colleges and youth clubs. We hope to see you at an event soon!
