Canvey Island Youth Project: Creative Arts Youth Worker (Intern)
An exciting position has become available within CYP Yellow Door for a full-time Creative Arts Youth Worker (Internship).
In your role, you will engage and support young people through creative arts projects and programmes within our clubs and activities, fostering their personal, social, and artistic development. The role involves planning and delivering arts-based activities that inspire creativity, build confidence, and encourage positive participation. You will collaborate with colleagues, young volunteers, the local community, and other organisations to create inclusive and accessible opportunities for young people. You will also provide mentorship and guidance, helping young people explore their talents and achieve their potential in a supportive environment.

ELHAP: Communications Officer (Internship)
The Communications Officer (Internship) is a brand-new position at ELHAP, designed to help promote our services and impact, raise our profile and enhance our digital presence – so that our charity can grow to meet the rising demand for our services. The role will report to the Fundraising Manager, but will work closely with the wider ELHAP staff and volunteer team. This internship is part-funded by the Jack Petchey Internship Programme.

BigKid Foundation: Breaking Barriers Facilitator (Intern)
BIGKID Foundation is looking for a vibrant, sociable, creative intern to join its dynamic team of world shakers to help run our in-school leadership programme, Breaking Barriers. We are looking for someone who loves to make a difference in the lives of young people, being a key figure and role model for the students we engage with.
Our Breaking Barriers leadership programme is delivered in schools across London, targeting young people at risk of exclusion, or otherwise vulnerable due to concerns around mental health and well-being. As a Facilitator, you will have a passion for seeing young people succeed, alongside strong public speaking skills.

Renaissance Foundation: Programme and Outreach Coordinator (Internship)
Renaissance Foundation is a specialist youth charity providing support to two hard-to-reach groups: young carers and young hospital patients suffering from life-limiting illnesses. Our mission is to inspire these young people to reach their full potential.
We are looking for an intern who is passionate about supporting young people who will be a key member of Renaissance Foundation’s programme team. It’s an opportunity to develop skills, gain new experience and support RF across programme coordination, outreach and engagement and impact. You will play a key role in recruiting young people, fostering community partnerships, and supporting with the successful delivery of our programme, impacting more young people at RF.

XLP Youth Charity: Associate Youth Worker East (Internship)

Hackney Quest: Youth Work Intern
Hackney Quest has been supporting young people, families and the community for over 36 years, fostering positive opportunities and building positive connections. This is your chance to make a real impact while developing your skills and career in a positive youth work environment.
As our programme continues to grow and engage more and more young people, the Youth Work Intern will support our Youth Manager with planning and delivering our youth programme. We recently expanded our youth programme and this would be an exciting time for an intern to be involved in its development. The role is varied including a wide range of activities including planning and development, direct youth work and will give the intern scope to bring their own passions and skills to the role.

Fight For Peace: Sports Development Officer Intern

Roma Support Group: Youth Engagement and Participation Worker (Intern)
The Roma Support Group was established in 1998 to improve the quality of life of Roma refugees and migrants, who are amongst the most discriminated against, and socially excluded minorities in the UK.
We are looking for a Youth Engagement and Participation Worker to work across our team to support Roma youth to engage and participate with our services, including supporting the delivery of education advocacy, extracurricular activities, and youth forums to enhance their educational attainment, skills, confidence and life chances. The role will also involve developing online content for our website and social media in order to reach and engage Roma youth.

Young Actors’ Theatre Islington (YATI): Creative Outreach & Inclusion Assistant (Internship)
YATI recognises that young people across Islington and North London benefit greatly from engaging with the performing arts but face challenges such as accessibility that prevent their participation. YATI is looking for someone passionate about the arts and working with communities to assist with the smooth running of our creative outreach department. This is a great opportunity to work within our locality, creating opportunities for everyone to access the arts regardless of background or income.
This post is responsible for supporting the management and delivery of a range of new and exciting Creative Outreach projects with young people, schools, and community groups. The post holder will build relationships with key partners from both the local area and the creative learning and participation sector and in widening the pool of freelance artists that YATI engages. The post holder will also contribute to the writing of funding reports through monitoring information and data.

London Basketball Association: Youth Voice & Engagement Coordinator Intern

Newham Music Trust: Education Assistant Producer (Internship)
The intern will support the delivery of Newham Music’s music education programmes with schools and work with the Creative team to develop and deliver Newham Music’s Youth Ambassadors programme. Based at Newham Music’s venue at Westfield Stratford City, they will provide administrative and event support across Newham Music’s Education and Creative teams, culminating in massed performances and events by and for children and young people.

South Essex Community Hub (SECH): SECH Youth Worker (Intern)
The successful applicant will work alongside our established youth team to help us grow our youth services across Southend, while experiencing the full range of activities and skills needed in the day-to-day running of a youth service.
As a Youth Worker (Intern) at SECH Youth Hub, you will encourage the young people attending our youth hub to be involved in communication projects, building their skills and ensuring their voices are heard. By working with local secondary schools and colleges, you will provide additional support to (vulnerable/at risk) students. You will work alongside experienced youth workers at SECH to deliver skills-based workshops on topics including leadership, creative arts, and vocational skills, empowering young people to explore their interests and potential. Lambourne End Outdoor Centre: Health and Wellbeing Programme Development Intern
Lambourne End Centre in partnership with the Jack Petchey Foundation are looking for Health and Wellbeing Programme Development Intern to research and develop new initiatives. The purpose of this role is to develop programmes that specifically promote improved health and wellbeing using our outdoor learning environment; to pilot a variety of health and wellbeing focused programmes run at different times for varying groups of young people to help the Centre engage effectively with more young people and increase its ability to deliver meaningful programmes that help address the increase in poor mental health and wellbeing among young people.

Ignite Youth: Youth Voice and Participation Worker (Intern)
Ignite Youth is a progressive youth work charity based in the London Borough of Harrow, who have been providing help and support to young people for over 23 years. Ignite is a Christian charity, working equally with young people of all faiths and none. We are faith based but not faith biased!

Jack Petchey Foundation: Youth Voice and Engagement Intern
The Youth Voice and Engagement Intern role is a new post that will help us grow our youth voice and youth engagement work within the Foundation, in line with our new strategic priorities. This role sits in the Executive Team, and will work closely with the Executive Assistant, as well as colleagues within our Communications and Operations teams. There will be regular opportunities to work collaboratively on projects with other departments and stakeholders.

Caius House: Youth Voice and Engagement Intern
Are you passionate about empowering young people and making a real impact in your community? Caius House is seeking a dynamic and creative Youth Voice and Engagement Intern to join our team in Battersea. If you’re ready to amplify youth voices, develop exciting projects, and build meaningful connections, this opportunity is for you!
As a Youth Voice and Engagement Intern, you’ll work closely with our CEO, Youth Operations Manager and youth workers to engage young people across Battersea. Your role will focus on ensuring that their voices are heard, their ideas are valued, and their experiences at Caius House are transformative. You’ll also play a vital role in developing and delivering innovative community projects.

Laburnum Boat Club: Community Paddlesport Assistant (Intern)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our team and assist with the delivery of paddlesports sessions across our Clubs and services, to assist more young people to engage with our formal and informal activities, get active and improve their physical and mental wellbeing. The role does not need any prior qualifications, as NGB training and qualifications will be provided, but a passion for outdoor activities and helping young people to achieve their goals and become the best that they can be is a must. The post holder will engage members of our Youth Club; Sports Clubs for young people with disabilities; Family Club; school groups and others and will work alongside our highly experienced and qualified staff team to deliver canoeing, kayaking, Stand Up Paddleboarding and narrowboating activities, day and residential trips, mentoring young people within the Club throughout and helping the Youth Work team to provide holistic youth work through outdoor activities.

Croydon Legacy Youth Zone: Youth Engagement Intern
The purpose of this role is to develop, implement, and oversee programmes and initiatives that engage young people at Legacy Youth Zone including a youth voice forum. This role aims to create a safe, inclusive, and vibrant environment where young people can thrive, develop skills, and actively participate in their community.
In addition to supporting youth engagement for the organisation, this role will celebrate the inclusivity and diversity of the youth zone by developing and delivering an engaging programme of events and themes for young people, by young people. This role will form part of the recreational youth work team and work 5 sessions a week across the youth zone during the universal sessions which will help encourage relationships, opportunities to hear first-hand from young people and, with the recreational area being the heart of the youth zone, be at core of the offer and meet young people at their point of need.

Magpie Dance: Marketing and Projects Intern
Magpie Dance is excited to be joining up with The Jack Petchey Foundation Internship programme to employ a Marketing & Projects Intern for twelve-month paid internship starting in March 2025. The successful candidate must be available to take up the post by Monday 24 March 2025.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about our work to provide inclusive dance opportunities to young people with learning disabilities, and who wants to use and develop their amazing organisational and administrative skills to support our office. The Marketing & Projects Intern will provide administrative support for Senior Management team and Magpie Dance’s Youth program, as well as supporting our marketing and fundraising. They will assist in coordinating and supporting the delivery of Magpie Dance’s Artistic theme including events, out-reach work and performances.
