About the Jack Petchey Internship Programme

Each year the Jack Petchey Foundation funds year-long internships for up to 20 young people at youth organisations in London and Essex.

We will be providing part-funding towards the salary costs (at Real Living Wage rate) of an intern. Grants of up to £23,700 will be available, depending on the size and location of the organisation.

As well as part-funding towards the intern’s salaries (at London Living Wage/Real Living Wage), the programme includes a training bursary, personal development training programme for each intern and mentoring to help the young interns grow in their skills.

This will be the seventh year of our successful internship programme which has so far supported over 140 young people with roles in the youth sector. You can see some profiles of former Jack Petchey Interns below.
